The area served by Northern Health accounts for two-thirds of the land area of British Columbia. Across this vast expanse resides just under 7% of the BC population. This is a predominantly rural region with a rich and diverse Aboriginal heritage and an abundance of natural resources. Maps are well suited to describe the diversity of this amazing landscape.

In this section of our website we feature our Northern BC Communities Map and a number of other maps that tell the stories about northern BC, the people and some of the forces that have shaped this place we call home.
